I teach a variety of NRA firearms training courses on the safe and

effective use of rifles, pistols and shotguns for sport shooting, hunting, home and personal defense at:

Classes are offered to any person not disqualified by federal or state law from possession of a firearm.  A schedule of all NRA Classes offered can be found on the NRA web site www.nra.org.  Available classes are listed on the Schedule and Registration tab at the left side of this page. 

 

FLORIDA CWFL -- My most popular class is the NRA First Steps Orientation (Pistol), a 4 hour course designed to give the student the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to safely handle, use and store their own pistol.  Upon completion of this course, students are awarded a certificate which is accepted by the State of Florida as proof of training for a Concealed Weapon & Firearms License.

 

 

I'm NRA Certified - Insured - and qualified  to teach NRA courses in:

Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun, Muzzle-loading Rifle,

Personal Protection in the Home, Home Firearms Safety.

 

Also serve as an NRA Certified Range Safety Officer at the CFRPC, and previously served as Range Safety Officer at ranges in the Orlando area, Shooting Sports, and East Orange Gun Range.

 

 

 

During a 22 year career in the United States Army, served in various assignments involving safe and effective use of firearms including pistols, rifles, machineguns, tank and artillery guns and mortars and served as a marksmanship training and Range Safety Officer for range firing of all types.  Experienced Army trainer as well as college level instructor.  Hold U.S. Army qualifications of Expert (pistol), Sharpshooter (rifle), and Marksman (light and heavy machineguns, tank weapons).  Lifelong hunter and recreational shooter since first training through Boy Scouts of America in 1961.  Have trained over 200 students in Florida in the safe and effective use of firearms.
