Registering a Domain with GoDaddy

Registering a domain with GoDaddy takes a few minutes only and allows for easy set up with your SiteKreator website.

1. Go to GoDaddy.com and make a search for your desired domain to confirm it is available for registration.
   
    
   
    
2. If the domain is available, click on the "Continue" button to proceed with registration. If the domain is already registered GoDaddy will suggest a list of other available options. Select the one you wish to register or make a search for another domain.
   
   
   
    
3. On the "Domain Registration Information" page fill in the required fields and press "Continue".
   If you have previously registered a domain with GoDaddy, you can register the new domain using the same account - just fill in your login name and password and press the "Secure Login" link.
   
   
   
    
4. On the "Registration and Checkout Options" page select the desired "Domain Registration Preferences"
    
   
• Expand the link "Domain names on this order" to review your domain name(s) are correct
• Select "Registration length" period
• Check that the "Contact information" is correct
• Select "Public" or "Private" registration - with the private registration the details of the domain owner will not be displayed in the public WHOIS directory
• Select "Automatic" or "Manual" renewal of domain - if you select the automatic option your domain name will be auto-renewed upon expiration using the billing details provided for this registration. With the manual option you will receive a notification when the domain expiration approaches and will need to renew its registration manually.
• Your domain name at Godaddy comes with 1 email address - if you need to purchase more email addresses you can select the option "Add Dlx Email"
   
  Select the "Quick Checkout" option and press "Continue"
   
5. Review your Shopping cart, select your payment method and confirm that you have read and agree to the Domain Registration Agreement and Terms of Service. Click "Checkout Now" button.
   
    
   
    
6. Fill in your payment information and press "Checkout Now"
   
   
   
    
7. Fill in the "Access Code" as screen and click the "Verify Code" button to complete your domain registration.
   
   
   
   After submitting the access code you'll be able to print your receipt and and login to your account.
    
8. Once logged, from "Domains" option on top select "Manage Domains" to proceed with pointing your domain to your SiteKreator website.
